unedited riffing take one
“Jack of all trades, master of none”
Cut me some slack
Please?

Can a lot of alright be good enough for you?

River
Through the knotweed. Down the ladder made of tree roots. Up onto the big rock. By the river. I stand, mud on my ankle and cuts on my knees. The sun sits just barely above the trees as the sweat sits just above my brow.

crash over the sand
where you once sat.Your ashes sink
into the waters
you once sailed.Others desecrate
the land
you once found holy.
