to a blanket of fresh white
not even eight yet
bright birds flock around
our feeder. leave small footprints
delicate imprints

The Start of My Day . . . or Not
I walked down the hall, and down the spiral staircase. Then I put my toast in the toaster and made my coffee. I put butter and honey on my toast and sat in my chair with a good book. Once I finished eating, I set my book down and walked outside. -

Before us there were aliens. The human race started in a petri dish as an experiment for alien scientists. They wanted to test the living conditions of earth because their planet was too overpopulated. -
Sunday Church
Today is Sunday and my mom brought me and my siblings to church. But church was different today. There was a guest.
