The Start of My Day . . . or Not

I walked down the hall, and down the spiral staircase. Then I put my toast in the toaster and made my coffee. I put butter and honey on my toast and sat in my chair with a good book. Once I finished eating, I set my book down and walked outside. There was a blue bird flying by. The waves were crashing against the shore, and I could feel the spring air. 

I went to my garden and saw a sprout coming out of the ground. I looked at it with a big smile on my face, and then walked down the rock pathway to the driveway. Next, I started down the road for a walk. I saw some strangers passing by and waved to them. I went into a coffee shop and sat down and waited. I do not know what I was waiting for yet, but I knew something was coming. All of a sudden, a pig with wings came flying at me! What? I ducked under the table. There was a nest with hatching robin eggs under the table. Interesting! The eggs hatched while I was watching the nest and small dinosaurs with big teeth came out. Frightened, I ran out of the shop and started running for home. On my way home, I saw the mailman, but he had the head of a cow! Scary! When I got home, I ran inside my house and then to my room. In my room was a table. By the table, sitting in a chair, was Queen Elizabeth having tea. I take another step and bump my head on the bedpost.
