Treblemaker

      I used to want to leap real high. And gather air and speed and fly.
     I was excited to start this journey, until you came- and made me worry.
You tell me I must make the leap

"I can't believe you forgot where you parked the car! We only went to the Zoo for three hours." Eva complained.
"whale whale whale, look who's talking. You told me where to park- you should remember," her brother Leo remarked.

I’m jersey number 15. 
I'm the girl that warmed the bench in 7th grade,
dutifully handing out water and watching the score with bouncing knees, 
the person who makes random posters

Last weeks work
is this weeks issues. 
Yesterdays woes have carried over. 
Cant look ahead cause behind is not finished. 
Hours of stuff have not been diminished. 
Why cant I stay on top  of the mess?

I had a dream. 

You jumped. 

I was always afraid of this. That your hopelessness would one day overcome your rational decision making, and that bridge we often ride over would be your place of death. 

Ew.
I'm old.
Older.
The last day being the age I am is - the same.
And yet I'm scared.
Funny how one number can make you think about everything that's happened
I only look back longingly,
