At the hurl of a storm, the tree collapses.
Stagnant from then on, broken. Such an easy thing to be.

back and forth on its trunk, tendons straining

These are so stark and sharp in resolution, and beautiful in their composition! I know it's not your usual subject matter, but I would absolutely love to see you write a poem (even just a haiku) inspired by these!
