There was a narrow world
It had a narrow town
With lots narrow people
Everywhere around
And just down the street there was a narrow steeple
And all were going in this narrow church
To pray to a narrow god
An egg waiting to hatch
For consumption, for a snack
All we wanted and yet more
Popcorn, popcorn, popcorn galore
For a Sunday movie night
Be it funny or to give you a fright
Popcorn now and popcorn then
Blind
To see the world through closed eyes, nothing and everything all at once
To hear the music of the earth and dance their way through life's perils
To feel the ground beneath their feet as they travel
