Blind

Blind

To see the world through closed eyes, nothing and everything all at once

To hear the music of the earth and dance their way through life's perils

To feel the ground beneath their feet as they travel

To smell Mother Nature and her bountiful glory

To taste the fresh air as they feel prideful at their success

What some call a burden they call a gift

They are standing tall not pushed down by the barbell of sight

Unseeing of the podium of which they are on top

Their perseverance serves them well.

  • Ouroboros

Can there be a house without a home?

Can there be a king without a throne?

Can there be a priest without a faith?

Can there be a ghost without a wraith?

Can there be a hero, without a quest?

  • There was a narrow world

    There was a narrow world

    It had a narrow town

    With lots narrow people

    Everywhere around

And just down the street there was a narrow steeple

And all were going in this narrow church

To pray to a narrow god
