Autumn Leaves

I step outside,

And look around.

I see the autumn leaves.

In hues of yellow,

Red and brown.

I see the autumn leaves.

As I watch,

Barely breathing,

Autumn leaves

Fall from the trees.

I cannot comprehend

Just how beautiful

A sight

I am graced with.

I see the autumn leaves.

Back to school

Is nearly here

But in this moment,

I don't care.

For

Here I stand,

Surrounded by beauty.

I see the autumn leaves.

    Hello

    My name is Jaden

    I am fifteen

    And this is a poem

    About me

    About how I feel

    Being a teenager

    In 2025

    Distance

    Rain

    Endless nights

    With no end in sight

  • It Gets Better

    Sometimes
    I wake up
    And I just can’t
    I can’t get up
    I can’t go to school
I can’t go get my meds
    Why?
    Because sometimes
    It’s too much
    Accepting this world
    Is just too much
    And I just can’t
    Make myself
