Autumn Leaves

I step outside,

And look around.

I see the autumn leaves.

In hues of yellow,

Red and brown.

I see the autumn leaves.

As I watch,

Barely breathing,

Autumn leaves

Fall from the trees.

I cannot comprehend

Just how beautiful

A sight

I am graced with.

I see the autumn leaves.

Back to school

Is nearly here

But in this moment,

I don't care.

For

Here I stand,

Surrounded by beauty.

I see the autumn leaves.

  • Maybe Someday

    Ya know

    Sometimes I don’t think

That things will ever get better

    Sometimes I don’t see

    How they really could

But I’m not always like that

    Sometimes I think

    “Maybe someday”

    “Maybe it will improve”

    Hello

    My name is Jaden

    I am fifteen

    And this is a poem

    About me

    About how I feel

    Being a teenager

    In 2025

    Distance

    Rain

    Endless nights

    With no end in sight
