Dear best friend--

If you were killed, I wouldn’t be at your funeral. 
I would be in jail, for killing the person who killed you.

When I am with you, I can’t help but smile. You make this life easier to laugh about, to laugh with. 

I know if I fall down, after you laugh, you’ll pick me back up. And if you can’t do that, I know
You’ll lie down beside me and point out the stars. 

Just as I would do for you. 

You have stuck beside me through every moment, every heartbreak and bad decision. 

You know I am crazy and you still choose to be seen in public with me.

You are the hottest, smartest, funniest, strongest, and most insane person I know. 

It’s not that
I can’t live without you,
It’s that
I don’t want to live without you.

I will go to the ends of the earth if you ask me to.

 If someone breaks your heart, I will break their face. Because they didn’t deserve your heart in the first place. 

When you need a shoulder to cry on, it will be mine. When you need something to smile at,
 I will do something to make you laugh. 

When you need a reminder that you are incredible and always worth it, I will always tell you so.

We can talk without speaking, if you say “I hear sirens”, I’ll say “run”.

If you text me: I’m going to do something reckless and totally stupid, try to stop me--
I will text you back: We’ll do it together, you’re too damn stubborn for me to stop you.

If you become president, I will stand there during your inauguration speech, 
And try to make you laugh in the middle of it.

I will never leave you, I will never stop loving you.

We can cause trouble in the nursing home together someday, all the nurses will hate us.

You are worth every second of pain this world puts us through, 

You are worth this life, and if you’re not in it--

Then I won’t be either.
