my words grew weak, and my mind started racing.

maybe you couldn't hear me. 

i screamed it again, hoping you would hear me.

and then you spoke again, and your words stung like venom.

they pierced into my fragile heart, like a shot of adrenaline,

reviving the bit that loved me, the bit that remembered what you once were to me.
