My president is acting

And how he seems to think

He owns you

I'm sorry that

People refer to you

As the 51st state

Instead of

The country

Canada

I'm sorry that

Our sacred bond

Has now been broken

But I hope

We can mend it

I'm sorry for

What we're doing

To you

Canada

To your

People

To all the little kids

Who will hear about

This

And maybe live in fear
