Come climb the willow tree,
up the weeping branches,
Claudio, from that play we read
years ago in school,
he climbed the willow tree
to make a garland for himself,
Come climb the willow tree to make you a garland,
Hang it round your neck and dance
Come climb the willow tree
Come climb up here with me
Everyone does it, it's what to be done
Come climb the willow tree
and bind me up a garland
hang it round your neck
and spin around with me
"THE PRINCE HATH GOT YOUR HERO"
we yell and yell and yell
The prince hath got your Hero now
He used to have mine
but you're wearing the garland now
so the Prince hath got your Hero
Come climb the willow tree with me
and yell our little chant
and afterwards we'll all lie down
under the weeping branches
and pant and pant and pant
Come climb the willow tree
make a garland and spin
the prince hath got your Hero
and now we hath got you

There are so many directions to take this challenge, some of them potentially dark, yet this is light and spirited. What came to mind were woodland sprites climbing, twirling, enjoying each other's company and the natural world around them -- ha! I wouldn't mind, myself, being initiated into this higher state of being.
Thank you!
