The truth is, for most people the dark isn't a problem. The real problem lurks in the darkness itself. 

The fact that a simple thing like the darkness can instill such fear in people is truly astounding. 

The darkness can be black, blue, purple. It can be a place, it can be a feeling. It can be scary, it can be mysterious, it can even be inviting in a strange way.

We were charming ideologues with a penchant for hypocrisy. 
 

Dark 

I love the dark. 

Ever since I was little I have loved it. 

You only get one vote.
You only get one counted opinion.
You can rant and try to make people believe whatever,
but in the end, 
every person gets one chance.
One chance to have a definite say in this election.

I wanted to create a message for everyone. 
Regardless of political party, Republican or Democrat,
red or blue,
I want people to think red, white, and blue.
Think community
rather than division.

Winter 

I believe that there are some aspects of ourselves that we never lose. Nobody ever really changes that much, do they?

Every time I drive through my neighborhood, I see presidential candidate signs. Big, small, sometimes just a single lawn sign, and sometimes a sea of red and blue.

How will history remember us? There are 67 million of us in the U.S. and 2 billion around the world. We are inheriting the decisions made by the Baby Boomers and the Silent Generation.

So blatantly true that half the world might plug their ears,
Afraid of the truth.
