Arrows and 

Men alike

both shall 

break and shatter 

at the means 

of the other 

she says i’m warm

yet i feel 

cold

distant

i feel space,

the seconds 

and severed flesh

that separates 

me from myself.

how can i be warm

how can i be excited

You can be cold

but not without consequence

You can be warm

but not without effort

You can be brave

but not without fear

You can be good 

but not without sacrifice

You can be evil
