where do ripples come from

i wonder

these little 

escalating things 

perhaps they come from

the speed boat 

a few paces out 

sharp short

and jagged 

or maybe 

Arrows and 

Men alike

both shall 

break and shatter 

at the means 

of the other 

Look to the sky

for salvation

He was a sacrifice 

yet he did the same

Now he is Immortal

What are you

besides dead? 

she says i’m warm

yet i feel 

cold

distant

i feel space,

the seconds 

and severed flesh

that separates 

me from myself.

You can be cold

but not without consequence

You can be warm

You can be brave
