In each person, there’s a story,
one you may or may not know,
but in every person,
there are hints of their long story,
such as in their beauty.
Around their mouth,
some may have lines,
showing the smiles they have given
and the laughs they have had.
Some may have lines
at the corner of their eyes,
showing their years of laughter,
showing their moments of joy.
Some may have creases in their brow,
showing their times of surprise
or their times of confusion.
There are many great stories,
even in very simple lines.

I love that ending lie so much! "There are many great stories,
even in very simple lines."
Thank you! I wanted this poem to show how something as simple (and something that’s sometimes disliked) is beautiful, and I thought the last line showed that! :)
