They Wouldn't Want to Be Her

She walks in

Eyes on the floor

Drawing everybody's eyes up

Hair coiled tightly

Wound up

Just like her heart

Her heart that feels like it's being squeezed

As strong as the looks she gets

Her face is a straight mask

Of mascara, blush and eyeshadow

As if she doesn't care

But she knows

It's the only way to hide

All of her emotions

Everyone looks at her

All of them envious

Of her beauty

All of the envious

Thinking she's happy

But she knows

If they truly knew

Her

If they truly knew

How alone she was

They wouldn't want to be her

    Close your eyes

    Spin around

    And point

    Choose the felon

    Choose the victim

    Watch the tears fall

    In joy

    Gratefullness

    Or

    In sadness

    Pain

    Shrug

    Because to you

  • Do It For Her

If you can't do it for yourself

    Then do it for her

    Do it for the girl

    With big ideas

    And even bigger dreams

The girl who would try to count the stars

But then sigh and say there was a lot

  • ABC Heart poem

I'm not sure how I feel about this poem, I don't think it's really good but I really wanted to participate in this challenge. :)

    All times my heart has
