I’ll say it: I hate our president

All my life, people have written me off as

“different”

“possessed” and

“antisocial”

And while yes

I am different

I am not possessed

I am disabled

I must leave the past behind.

I can't hold on to it any longer.

I must walk away from the past if I want a good future...

I must walk away from the past if I want to be free...

i don't feel good

i think i'm hungry

'you feel fine'

says the almost mute voice in the back of my head

'this is normal'

i guess it is

i don't feel good

i think i'm fat

Pretend I am alright,

act like I’m just fine.

Wonder if you see the battle march

in every step I stride.

We all hold hands with murderous intent

When my hair begins to grey, I will rejoice.

My crow’s feet will race farther than my aging joints could ever take me.

They will run down my cheek and jaw to meet my laugh lines,
