Hey.
 Hi :)
How are you?
 IDK
 IDK?
Yeah. I am just kinda tired
and thinking of you
and missing you.

 Aww. Miss you too :)
 Color a picture with me?
 Okay.
 Okay.
There is a city that appears sometimes...
 But
only when it rains...
The buildings are made of clay,
all pastel colors,
with open arching doorways...
 Vendors sit
on woven grass mats,
brightly colored spices
in wooden bowls
clutter the space in front of them...
 And above it all,
color drenched birds
with long streamer tails soar...
Welcome to The City of Crushed Petals...--
 Oh, I like that!
 Yeah? Okay :)
 Okay ;)
What are you doing?

 Eating ramen,
drawing on my desk,
and talking to my favorite person :)
What about you?

 Watching light and shadow
grapple for space on my ceiling,
drinking chai tea,
and creating a brilliantly flavor saturated world
with my favorite person ;)

 ;)
Should we continue?

 Absolutely.
All the people are made of silk,
their clothes, of spider lace,
still dewy with morning teardrops...
 Their jewelry glitters,
created from stories, memories,
worn on their fingers,
hanging in drips around their necks...
Their laughs are a thousand strawberries,
caught
in late afternoon sunbeams...
And they smile with their eyes,
like never-ending sunsets through fog...--
 Wait
but they use their lips to smile too, right?

 Well IDK,
do they even have lips?
Do you think they should?

 Do you think they should?
 I asked first.
Let me rephrase that.
Do you think that these fictional characters,
made of sewing products and universal phenomenons,
spewing forth solely from our teenage minds,
who would not wistfully and/or wishfully exist otherwise,
should have lips?

 So that they might experience
what it's like to taste stars in the form of papaya drenched in sugar,
and sing out their praises
for the beauty of crocuses dipped in honey and
frozen in a downpour of moonlight?
So that  they might know
what it's like to kiss someone
and feel sparklers light
and be held inside their stomach?
Yes, I think they should have lips.

 Wow.
Okay then.
Lips it is.

 Okay :)
 Okay :)
Continue?
 Yep. You start.
So these silken people with lips,
full, lucious lips (;p)
they are not born like humans.
They wrench themselves out of the murals
that line the cobblestone streets...
 People take turns painting them,
and only when every
single
last
detail
has been painted in...
 Do they come free...
From their clay and canvas prisons...
To bloom among the humming streets,
and weave glowing strands
of memories around and through
the silk people...
 Clothed in glittering spider lace,
with
hazy forever sunsets in  their eyes...
Adorned with sparkling tales and myths,
hot, sky drenched berries on their breath...
The breath that pushes out through their lips
that know what it's like to taste stars...
In a city that appears sometimes...
 But only when it rains.
 The City of Crushed Petals.
 Okay :)
 Okay :)
 How are you now?
I am not quite so tired,
but am still thinking of you (Always)
and missing you.
How are you?

I am spilling over with thoughts
of revelations
and having revelationary thoughts(I think that's a word?!)
Like,
the person I am talking to
is a revelation.
Or maybe a revelution...your choice.
And of course, missing you.

 I will be both :)
 Okay.
 Okay.
 So
you were very adamant
that there be lips in our story.
Are you always like that?

 Yes, well...
only when I'm thinking of certain people ;)

 ;)
Okay, I have to go.
The light and shadows are still fighting
and I very much need to inhale
every moment of it.

 Okay.
Let me know who wins.
I will be exhaling for you
so you continue to live ;p

 Hehe, thank you.
 I love you.
 I love you too.
