An Acrostic For Justice

Given few chances, given few jobs

All of their wages for companies to rob

Robbed of their happiness, Robbed of their pay

Money is gone, just taken away

Excruciating work

No end in sight

They still keep on working, they don't end the fight

When you finish a shirt, some pants, a dress

Only 5 cents is all that you get

Revolution is needed

Keep yourselves undefeated

Every last one of you has persevered

Revolt, fight back, you will be revered

Resilient we stand, all working hard

Inside of a factory which is marred

Given less than minimum wage

Humans, we’re not treated, we’re all just backstage

Taken for granted, most would agree

Someday soon we will set ourselves free

Can there be a house without a home?

Can there be a king without a throne?

Can there be a priest without a faith?

Can there be a ghost without a wraith?

Can there be a hero, without a quest?

  • There was a narrow world

    There was a narrow world

    It had a narrow town

    With lots narrow people

    Everywhere around

And just down the street there was a narrow steeple

And all were going in this narrow church

To pray to a narrow god
