Clouds fixed in settled explosions of amber and saffron

Clement winds tossing seaweed on the toasted flaxen sand 

If I had everything I wanted 
Would I have it all? 

But what do you want in life? 
Not me 
Not him 
Not her 

What do you want? 

the wooden floorboards creaked from the weight, a circle on the floor like we were kindergarteners once again. never missed the 'get to know you circles' . 

And so he sat there

Engulfed in the presence of time

And realized that his path was carved out for him

Awaiting footsteps

Begging for mistakes

If only he were to begin his journey
