arms out,head down
release the
small water drops
from my,
burdened arms
but,
it is my head
that gets the pain.

i am reminded
of my non female body
and that is why
my arms drip -
you can't hit a girl

boys yell one time too many in the crowded eighth grade cafeteria
i want to scream "but feminsm is equality!!"
but i don't, because -
