A wild dream wakes you, 

tears you out of 

the spiral you are swimming in, 

sending you, reeling, into a new reality.

then I put you outside of my bedroom door

If only I had known you were leaving my world 

Would I have let you stay to claw up my headboard 

He says he's mine,

but am I really his?

Should I push these feelings aside and let him in?

Is their some kind of line that decides if I'm his?

Is this right?

do we really fit?

It's only four o'clock,

But I still should be home

Cleaning the whole house,

Like I have all the time in the world. 

It's only five o'clock, 

But dinner should be on the table,

I wish I could punch the screen.

So many unchecked boxes, all too keen

on destroying my zestful life,

Showing me how careless I am,

And leaving me in strife.
