nostalgia
I want to go back to that simpler time,
Where we ran through fields and played in dirt,
When we had an abundance of freedom, a million open moments,

My feet are on the
Gross ground
Trembling
I can barely tell
That the floor is solid

I am

Aren't I?
I turn my work in on time

insomnia's embrace
Lie awake tired, won’t go to sleep, regret it in the morning,

I try to break the cycle,
but then something stops me.
Oh wait, it was just myself, again,
like always,
but I'm stuck and
