is it because 

they are filled with pity?

When they lie

slain on the street

I can only hope they went out quickly

I drive by

through busy streets

bullets bleed

released

one by one

through the city streets

she didn’t see

she didn’t scream

she fell

fast

asleep

 chaos bleeds

This moment,

golden

Before 

it 

all

 goes 

away

Before you 

fall,

there’s a time

sometimes

when my fingers don't itch to write

and the keyboard is a faraway memory, 

i curse myself

curse the world

because i feel like poetry is pointless.

why

do my hands know exactly how

Hello sweetheart! 

My goodness, how time has flown. 

You used to be so little, do you remember? 

My life is changing 

like the four seasons, 

though without any reason — 

I find myself scared of it. 

Change, it’s a horrifying but beautiful thing.
