Being a poet 

I think to be a poet means

To be one to bleed out 

On lined paper 

And express the hurt 

you must feel.

i have always journaled,

ever since i was 6.

sure back then my entries were just doodles of my day,

but it still helped me convey my emotions.

i was at the shop with my mom,

There are a few things I strongly believe in. 

I believe that, in some cases, hurt sparks creativity. 

There's a girl I know, who uses her blood as paint

Pandora's box held Despair 
it held the fated end,

humanity held in a snare
of their own offends

but after the release, 

in the box remained
a single little spirit

I look over at the waves

Soft breeze on my face

The sun dancing brightly

On the rocks below

I clench my fist tightly

I know I want to go

The wind whips my hair

I almost start to shiver
