The five-part documentary series by filmmaker Lauren Greenfield features Los Angeles teenagers whose childhoods have been shaped by social media. "One thing that surprised me was almost every single kid said that if they had a choice, they would rather not have social media — that they would rather be in their parents’ generation," Greenfield said in an interview with Caitlin Gibson of The Washington Post.
