I had this idea for a retelling of Orpheus and Eurydice told in 1860s cowboy Texas where Orpheus is a saloon singer named Ophelia and Eurydice is a cowboy on his family's farm named Eustace. Do y'all think I should write it?

YES PLEASE DO!!! I would 100% read this! I'm a huge fan of mythology and cowboys. Cowboy remakes scratch the itch in my brain in the best way.

WHAT why are you even asking?????? YES ABSOLUTELY that sounds so good and the gender switch=brilliant, and the Orpheus/Eurydice story doesn't get told often so yes totally you should! i would definitely read this :D happy writing!
