Writers and readers out there: do you prefer to read longer poems or shorter poems and why?

Both! For me, it really depends on what it's about.

ooh that's a great question! i like to read and write more medium length and short poetry. long ones can never hold my focus for the whole thing - it has to be really captivating and creative ("Falling" by James Dickey is one of these stand outs!) but i think as long as it's a good poem, i don't care about the length :D
I prefer to read shorter for the most part because I find them easier to digest, but I prefer to write longer poems!
