Yes! When I’m working on my book, or an essay for school I listen to music (with lyrics), but when I’m writing poetry I listen to instrumental music only!
I highly recommend it! Also you can use a free website like garage band or band lab and use pre-recorded piano/drum/etc tracks :) happy writing!
