If anyone ever wondered why a sunflower was called a sunflower, these pictures would be the ones to show them. It truly looks like a flower of fantasy, off there in the distance, among the great blooms of the field... What a perfect day to go outside with your camera, these are all so stunning!
I understood your indignant determination to carry on through the cold, felt your frenzied anticipation in the candy-counting, and felt too the warmth and safety of home and family -- themes both hidden and highlighted by the actions of the more surface Halloween night. "That wasn't the point anyway." Wise words... you don't even know how right you are. Treasure these memories every year, tuck them somewhere safe!
It's great to see the direction you took this poem: These are definitely some of the more forgotten small moments and thrills of fall, the glimmers and emotions of the season, rather than the tangible treats and activities that naturally come to mind when the temperature first dips. I think that's what makes this piece special.
This captures the spirit of the season so well, and props to you for maintaining a rhyme! I was especially happy to see horror movies mentioned... it wouldn't be fall without them, for me!
thank you!
thank you soo much!!
Thank youu
That was the direction I was trying to go for, as they are my favorite parts of fall! Thanks for saying that, it made my day!
Thank you, I’m so glad someone can relate to this way I feel in fall and how I look forward to it every year:)
