The one with Margot Robbie. We should have watched the animated ones though, that would have been absolutely iconic

That's such a moment, but the defining question is: the Barbie movie with Margot Robbie or the animated Barbie movies?

This is late I know, I didn't do much but had a little "galentines" with my girlfriends a few days before Valentine's! It was pretty fun, we made heart-shaped pizzas, ate cake, and watched Barbie!

The sparkle of the sunlight as it refracts off the glass over the paintings is so lovely! Where is this, if you don't mind me asking?

This mirrors my own experience with the go-go-go/slow-slow-slow mentality perfectly. As soon as I begin to relax, I feel I am aimless and without ambition -- but then, when I'm constantly on the move working toward my goals, I forget to live in the moment, just to breathe, have a little rest, or have a little fun. It's so difficult to find the right balance, sometimes. It seems like you've got a good head on your shoulders, though, and know what's currently working best for you! Just remember to smell the roses when they (finally) bloom!

This is very lyrically strong, and I really suggest you look up the poem "She Got, He Got" by Jayne Cortez and watch the video of her performance!! I think this poem, if you wish to experiment more, would be really cool as a villanelle! The line "You see, forgiveness is his revenge on himself" struck me the most. I'm excited to see more of this and others from you!!

"My mother says that he is still my blood / So I'll drain myself dry" is SO profound. I appreciate the matter-of-fact style, leaving no room for the semblance of redemption. Thank you for sharing this part of yourself, friend. <3

Wonderful political piece, and very timely for what is happening. Keep writing, this is liberation. This is protest in its prime.
