I love Rick Riordan! If you don't know, there's a new-ish series out - The Senior Year Adventures, which continues Percy's, Annabeth's, and Grover's adventures in their senior year involving recommendation letters and very annoyingly stubborn (as usual) gods and goddesses. The first two are out and they're really good! I also recommend The Sun and The Star by Rick Riordan and Mark Oshiro - it's about Nico di Angelo and Will Solace, and it's also super good. I also love Daughter of the Deep!
This piece is a gift, a genuinely helpful guide to overcome loneliness. You write with such kindness, honesty, and wisdom. Thank you for sharing your story. And welcome to YWP!
What a lovely vignette and sensory experience, touching all the senses and ending with a sweet reward – "that killing smile all the way to your eyes." Great line, great poem!
…I love this. It’s short, but really conveys what hate is. I think that sometimes, we get so wrapped up in the burn of hate, that we forget to take a step back and look at where the hate is coming from, which I think is SO important.

I want to be a singer/songwriter, a writer, and teach special needs kids, although I also have an interest in veterinary and pediatric medicine.
