I feel like it's sort of similar to swears when you talk. Its fine to use them, but the more you use them, the less power they have when you do. If how you want to write is with swears, or what you want to say right now is with swears, I think probably do it.
this is so real!! a lot of people say they enjoy sick days and even pretend to be sick so they can skip school, but I always hate them and do exactly what you do - obsess over missing school!!! very nice <3
