This is really good! Even though I don't feel like I'm fully a part of anything a lot of the time and community/inclusion feels like a dream to me, I can really feel the warmth coming from all the descriptions :)
I hope one day at least home will feel like that. It's a bit hard when you're in a family of five and everyone's always loud and dramatic (expect Dad, Dad's chill. But everyone else? Oh boy.)
Absolutely incredible. And he was dehydrated and starving because he hadn't drank or eaten anything for days. He exceeded the record for holding the senate floor, which, coincidentally, was set in favor of the Civil Rights Act of 1957 with 24 hours and 18 minutes. 46 minutes past the record, absolutely amazing. I hope he's taking the longest nap of his life and eating the best food ever. (edited for clarification sorry lol)
Reminds me of the time a bird made a nest and layed some very small eggs on the side of our house. They hatched and we got to see the babies! (I can post the picture!!) But then one day we came to check on them and they were all gone :(
