Yeah, it is! I actually started reading the series in fourth grade, but I started on the second book by mistake. I never really finished it, and I saw it on the shelf a while ago and was like "Oh my gosh, I can actually finish this now! Yay!"
I read this book in English this year! Amazing amazing read, beautiful words and little vignettes by Amy Tan to create a beautiful whole picture of the Joy Luck Club. Glad you enjoyed it as well!
This is great! I love the op-ed and a relation to dystopian book vibe, very well-backed up and well written. I wrote an op-ed that I'm working on publishing here about political online misinformation, and this reminded me of it. Nice job!
