idk if it's related to the equinox, but my town does a festival in October called Cider Days where they have food vendors and a cider press with fresh hot cider. They raise money for my school, sell free maple creemees, and the businesses are open! It's really fun.
I just finished The Hate U Give as well! The book cut me up into a million pieces the way only true works of art that express what needs to be said could do to me. I second anyone who wants to read to the book, and if you don't, I recommend rethinking that and reading it. Also, I'm now thinking I'm going to watch the movie next, even though it won't compare to the book.
The movie is nowhere near as good as the book. They cut some characters and skipped over some of the plot, and made the romance wayyyy more movie romance - I couldn't watch when Khalil got shot, but the movie wasn't too bad!

This is beautiful - I love to see how the seasons inspire us as we move throughout life, and what autumn in particular brings up for us!
