I lost a really really good friend last year (like the kind of friend who you're comfortable undressing with, who bakes with you and then shares their deepest secrets over the banana bread that left a still-there burn mark on their thigh) because they forced me to say awful things to another friend of mine, and this hits so close to home. thank you
What if the brother forces him to get close to the main character to betray her, but then they fall in love and he has to choose between true love and family? Maybe he could even be some kind of double agent. I really don't know, just food for thought. I love the second idea though :)

There's so much color in this and it blends perfectly together, not making it seem like too much while still being really pretty.
