Wow, I read this a few times and the meaning slowly came to be and became deeper and more beautiful. The first line "you should be an image in stained-glass windows" is such a unique first line that immediately drew me in. "And wonder at how your voice sounds like church bells" is another fantastic line. Amazing. Keep writing

Your writing is exquisite. Thank you for writing this and putting into words what loneliness can feel like, something I'm sure so many have also experienced. and the image of the single geese in the field was painted beautifully. Keep writing

I love the images you create with your writing. The colors swirling all around and getting stuck under the skin, the quite and peace and feeling settled, and centered by it. I also like how its structured. The double spaces act like breaths and pauses between the swirling colors. "The chance of creation and creativity in movement and power" "Where they no longer belong to others, and instead they're mine" both such beautiful lines. Keep writing

This is such a powerful piece I was fully attentive beginning to end. Never mind that your writing is thoughtful and the narrative flows very well, but what your musing about is hard to face and you took it head on. "It’s the way no one paid attention. It’s the way I didn’t raise my hand" gave me goosebumps and you highlighted something we should be thinking about and the uncertainty around why it's so difficult to do so. Keep writing, especially now, your words your important.

Potato kugel, chocolate matzah, and kosher-for-Passover coffee cake that one of the stores near us has. My family bought some macaroons that I haven't tried yet, which I am definitely looking forward to!

technically you're not late until it's official. Up to you if you want to get into that kind of drama tho instead of letting go

Absolutely love the poem! The iambs send me back to English 9 lol

i wrote you something in iambic, you will never read 2 months ago

Yeah, it's good to have in mind what a good community and home feel like. I do sports (and sometimes theater when I can) which gives me a sense of belonging, though usually I end up focusing more on the sport rather than the actual people lol which might ruin the point. I'm glad you found something too
