The Book Thief is AMAZING!!! Literally no other words to describe it. I read it in middle school and remember liking it a lot and I'm planning to reread it again sometime soon.
On another note, I was actually planning to read Educated: A Memoir soon.
Dang that is really tough and I am sorry to hear it. I guess the only thing I can say here is, don’t give up on trying to find more friends that can meet your needs. There's gotta be some out there and you need to find them.
