Sure I might have killed.

Sure I might have stolen.

But really I’m the good guy. I’m the main guy in MY story.

so why does the protagonist always get the fame

Their sad broken past

Or they were happy always

Now I’ve made them sad

So they come to fight

To ‘save the world’ and stuff

Slay the beast

Have a feast

Maybe get the girl

Why can’t I have a happy little ending

My ever after and the end

With the protagonist sprawled in disarray

With the world a smoldering pit

And everyone must obey

I just want my happy little ending.
