I'm sorry for screaming so loud,
Except really I am not,
Because how am I supposed to stay quiet,
When this fire still burns hot.
And you all have the water,
The extinguisher to put it out,
But you would rather put your hands around my neck,
And try to drown out my shouts.
Those little kids are burning,
The ones you let get hurt,
Because you would rather blame it,
On their perfectly normal lengthed skirt.
Is it that guys fault for being disabled?
Because now he is caught too.
And when more POC's are lit up,
You will claim you have done everything you could do.
Is it their fault for being alive,
For living the way they do?
Soon everyone will be burning,
And you will claim you had no clue.
So I will keep on screaming,
For all those who cannot,
But the fire is approaching me,
And my body is painfully hot.
How much longer will we be left ignored?
