If I could reach

If  I could reach a little more, 

I’d stretch  from here to Baltimore.
I could have reached that switch,

Scratched that itch.
Crossed that bridge,

Climbed that ridge.
Tapped that shoulder.

Pushed that boulder.
Picked that apple, 

Trademarked Snapple™.
But I could do most all this stuff,

 If I could reach just far enough.
