We, Humans, have something to say to you, Trees:
Dear Trees,

Thank you

Thank you for providing us with oxygen, fruit, a hug from time to time

Thank you for standing strong and mighty, providing a sense of stability

The air is warm, with a light breeze that ruffles the trees. 

School just ended, Teddy, my best friend, and I walk through the halls to the bus.

I stumbled through the front door, threw my shoes off and laid on the floor. I didn’t want to move at all. An hour finally passed by, and I finally got up to get ready for practice.

Fifth-grade recess was a time of discovery. All around me, the bustling playground broke into groups; it was war, and we were picking sides. The self-appointed cool kids walked around while the stragglers followed.

When I look in the mirror
I see a short girl
With big long legs
Eyelahes too long
I see a girl
With a big nose
And dry sensitive hands
I see a super shy girl
Too quiet
I used to not like looking in the mirror

A policeman was driving on an icy road late at night. It was snowing and he couldn't wait to get home to his wife and daughter. 

I'm sure there is someone out there who is pretending.

Pretending to be ok, to be happy, to have a sense of humor. Just trying to not be serious at all so they will be liked.

Calling all dreamers, wishers, wanters

Calling all those who wish but never receive

Taekwondo is one of the most important and fulfilling things in my life right now, but that wasn't exactly the case during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Taekwondo has shaped most of my values in life, and has always been my go to activity in my life.

I have been fortunate enough to have little hardships in my life. Even with the pandemic I haven't lost anyone close to me. I would say the hardest thing I've dealt with in my life is my parents divorce.
