Reach

If only I could reach a little farther… I would grasp the moon and bring it closer to me.

If only I could reach a little farther…  I would touch Jupiter and calm its raging storm.

If only I could reach a little farther… I would hold the stars, and never let them go.

If only I could reach a little farther… I would fix all the broken hearts.

I would strive to do the undone, I would teach the unteachable.

 I would home the homeless and I would name the nameless.
