a spring poem dedicated to may

flowers are blooming

like life rejuvenating

nature waking up from hibernation

an alarm clock to society that

flashes pinks yellows and greens

to remind us that summer is coming

days filled of sticky icy sugar

sand that never comes off

no matter how hard you try

salty skin turning golden

under the warm not too hot sun

spring is your reminder that

the world will become brighter

very very soon
