Imagine if emotional baggage looked physical.

i am learning to live without the idea of you

and i am trying to fill up the empty cave 

in my head, the one you created when you 

fell to the ground and pulled me down with you. 

why?

why are we destroying our one and only planet, our mother earth, our bluish-green marble that has kept us alive for millennia, our one and only home?

bicycle wheels pushed against young 

(already knobbly and weathered, wary of the world outside their tangled branches)
