standing on the shore, eyes wide with awe, 

an endless horizon was the first thing I saw. 

the depths of the ocean, where the mysteries lie,

waves whisper secrets to the moonlit sky. 

If I had nine lives, I would spend the first one jumping from a tall mountain, the wind in my hair, and filling my lungs, the full feeling of freedom. After that, maybe I'd find peace and wouldn’t fear the mountains.

My happiness had grown tremendously after a week of using a gratitude journal. Taking a moment each night to reflect on something or someone you are grateful for made my day so much better. It helped me focus on the positive aspects of my life.
