A confusing theory, luck and fairness are. It's not fair if you're lucky (to someone else) and to you it's not fair if you're unlucky. Luck means different things to different people.

Like stress
Tiredness consumes me
It chokes me in not a painful way
but a worn way
Like a vest
so close
to falling apart
but still has to survive
the following day

In The Dusk
In the dusk, winds blow, rustling the tree branches upon the trees. A forest opens into a wide field eventually leading to a small farm in a small town. But this town doesn't show up in this story. At least, not yet.

not amazing
every day they look themself in the mirror. i should be better. nobody tells them they're great. nobody cares to tell them how amazing they are. they fall asleep crying. they plaster a fake smile in the day. always. happy.
