How would you explain things

To someone who was born unknowing? Unseeing?

How to describe a net?

Its many holes hold you up,

Prevent you from falling.

But they are holes that catch your fall.

Why do we live? Why are we here? Why were we gifted this beautiful world that we are destroying without a question? Why do we not question? Why do we not think to look where trouble lies, rather than turning our heads? Why is there trouble?

One day I will be old

As I grow my skin will crease and stretch until you can no longer tell it was ever smooth

Freckles will engulf my skin

Everyone is no one without someone. Even the snow doesn’t blow on its own. The wind holds it up.

Rome was not built in a day because everyone had a say in the creation.

Walls take many bricks, and without one, the wall falls
