watch the sunrise

play of his hair

see the golden flecks appear 

in his galaxy eyes

He likes tea in the evenings

gaining the power

of the women who came before

stand tall stand strong

against your walls

hand in hand.

All these years

we have stood

behind the faces of men

In each person, there’s a story, 

one you may or may not know, 

but in every person, 

there are hints of their long story, 

such as in their beauty. 

Around their mouth, 

how do i say--

yesterday, you called me a miracle 

and i believed you because 

you can make me believe 

anything. 

(you have not always wielded that well.)
