I hope that one day,

I can make an impact,

and change lives for the better.

I hope that every little kid

grows up with childlike hope,

and never loses it.

its paws reaching out

it lands on the grass with a light thud

it hides there

waiting

quietly.

Moments slip away

faster than I'd like them to.

Moments I could hold onto forever
